Enjoy Lake Forest Golf

The Eastern Shore area along Mobile Bay is home to some of the finest and most playable golf courses on the Gulf Coast including the 18-hole facility of the Lake Forest Yacht and Country Club located in Daphne. Built in the late 60’s, the original Lake Nine layout was the first course ever designed by the renowned golf course designer Earl Stone.

The links wind among the graceful hills, valleys, and homes of the residential community and features tight rolling fairways, immaculate greens, challenging bunkers, plenty of trees, and, despite its name, very little water. The greatest challenge may be keeping the ball out of someone’s back yard, door, or window.
Continued improvements and developments have elevated the original design to today’s standards and added to the playability and enjoyment. The course is maintained in pristine playing condition year around while the Head Golf Professional Brian Barker and his staff provides excellent service and hospitality.
The Lake Forest facility features a large pro-shop and a great little cafe known as the Nineteenth Hole where a hungry golfer can enjoy one of the best burgers around or the finest chicken strips on the Eastern Shore.
The course is open to the public for individual play or tournaments. Snowbirds and large groups are invited. For a tee-time call 251-626-9324.
