FBI releases photos from Loxley bank robbery

LOXLEY, Alabama — The Federal Bureau of Investigations office in Mobile and the Loxley Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance to identify a man they say robbed the Loxley branch of United Bank on April 17.

The FBI has released photos of a suspect, who has been described as an older white male wearing a blue hoodie, along with photos of a vehicle believed to have been used in the robbery, described as a 2006 or 2007 blue over tan Ford Expedition.

According to officials, at approximately 12:45 p.m. Wednesday, an individual brandished a gun at two male employees at United Bank in Loxley, demanding money.

He was able to walk out of the bank carrying an undisclosed amount of cash, got into a vehicle, turned left onto Alabama 59 and drove away.
