Bishop is in search for his side-kick. This 3-year-old furry character resembles a Wookie from the action sci-fi movie Star Wars. Like the character Chewbacca, Bishop is on a mission to find his very own Hans Solo. Is this you? He is lighthearted, over educated and digs afternoon walks. One of his favorite pastimes is making new human and canine friends. If you are looking for an affectionate and brave companion, Bishop is the right pet for you. Call 251-929-3980 or stop by The Haven at 559 S. Section St. in Fairhope to adopt Bishop and you can help Bishop with his quest to restore love for homeless animals in our galaxy. All dogs adopted from The Haven are fixed, up-to-date on their vaccinations, micro-chipped, tested for heartworms, come with a free bag of Science Diet and 30-days of pet health insurance, and receive their monthly heartworm and flea and tick preventative. Coupons from area pet stores and businesses are also included in our packages. You can also visit havenforanimals.org for more information.

Star is an 11-month old female tortoiseshell kitty up for adoption at the Baldwin County Humane Society. Star is full of personality and love to cuddle. She’s got that classic tortitude so she might do better in a home without small children. Star is spayed, current on her vaccinations, FIV/FeLeuk negative and micro chipped. Visit BaldwinHumane.org or call 251-928-4585 to learn more.
