Robertsdale Garden Club honors Charlotte Zinner

ROBERTSDALE, Alabama -- The Robertsdale Garden Club surprised fellow member and past president Charlotte Zinner by honoring her on Tuesday, Dec. 11 at the PZK Hall in Robertsdale.

Zinner and her husband of 61 years Stanley owned a pecan tree farm in Robertsdale.

In addition she owned Baldwin County Town and Country Real Estate for 24 years and the Nylon Factory for 10 years.

She has been an active member of the Garden Club for more than 46 years, serving as president from 1974-76, 1980-82 and 1989-90.

Family and friend, including sons Brian and Kevin and grandchildren Kristen, Taylor and Jordan, joined in the celebration.

Mayor Charles Murphy read a proclamation declaring Tuesday, Dec. 11 Charlotte Zinner Day in Robertsdale.
