Summerdale man charged with possession of obscene matter

SUMMERDALE, Alabama — A Summerdale man was arrested and charged with possession of obscene matter Tuesday after the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at his residence.

Christian Prescott, 24, of Summerdale is being held on a $15,000 bond at the Baldwin County Corrections Center.

According to a release issued Wednesday by the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office, investigators seized electronic devices after executing a search warrant related to an Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) case at a residence on Brook Way in Summerdale. The devices will be analyzed by a digital forensic investigator, according to the release.
