Billy Joe Tacker Jr., age 55, a resident of Elberta, AL., passed away Monday, April 8, 2019.
He was a Mason with the Palmyra Lodge 747 in Palmyra, Tennessee. He served on the USS Kitty Hawk.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Deonia Tacker; and mother, Dorothy Powers.
Billy is survived by his two sons, Chris Tacker of Luray, Virginia and Dakota Tacker of Clarksville, Tennessee; three daughters, Kimberly Rickard of Luray, Virginia, Lindsey DePalma of Clarksville, Tennessee and Kristen McCoy, also of Clarksville, Tennessee; father, Ron Powers of Clarksville; brother, Barry Powers (Liz) of Elberta; sister, Dee Peck (Roy) of Omaha, Nebraska; many other loving relatives and friends.
A celebration of Billy's life will be held Thursday, April 11, 2019 at the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Foley at 4 p.m.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time.
