Bobby Lee Faust Sr., 85, of Foley, Alabama, passed away on Feb. 1, 2020 peacefully in his sleep.

Bobby Lee Faust was the fifth of seven siblings born in Montevallo, Alabama to Isloe Busby Faust a.k.a "Mama Faust" and Beecher Faust. The family moved to Fairhope in 1942 in hopes of finding better opportunities.

At an early age, Bobby's work ethic and ingenuity shined through. He had many adventures in his life, including travelling the world in the Merchant Marine. He enjoyed work, more work, and then even more work! Whether it was farming, brokering produce, or buying and selling land, he looked forward to every minute. He contributed so much to the community. Many don't realize how much Bobby worked to help the area grow and prosper.

He loved travelling with Judy in the RV bus to meet up with their friends at bluegrass festivals. He never met a stranger. He loved talking to people, finding out about their lives. Every place he went he would always make new friends.

He loved spending time at the bay house watching the boats go by and the beautiful sunsets. He was especially doting of his beloved terriers, Prissie and Buddy. He was a proud member of the Masons.

Faust was preceded in death by his daughter, Evelyn Ruth Faust; his wife, Bertie Ruth Faust; brothers, Billy Faust and Tommy Beecher Faust; sister, Ruth Beasley Faust.
