Campos, Godfrey crowned RHS Queen and King

ROBERTSDALE, Alabama — Ashley Campos and Isaac Godfrey were crowned Queen and King during festivities held Friday in Robertsdale.

Godfrey was crowned during the Robertsdale High School pep rally Friday afternoon in the gym at Robertsdale High School.

Godfrey was crowned from a group of nine seniors. Additional members of the King’s court were Carson Beasley, Luke Bezeredi, Cody Green, Alex Robinson, Tristian Stevens, Zane Sullivan, Logan A. Wilson and Tyler Wood.

The Queen’s court was also presented during the pep rally, which included performances by the RHS dance team and RHS cheerleaders, along with the presentation of the Spirit Stick.

Campos was crowned during pre-game festivities of the Golden Bears contest against 6A Region 1 rival B.C. Rain Red Raiders.

Campos was selected from a group of nine seniors. Additional senior court members are Amanda Franklin, Caroline Lipscomb, Camryn Lowery, Maggie Moore, Anna Rose Racine, Kelly Rogers, Emma Spears and Andy Taylor.

The Queen’s court also included three members of the freshman, sophomore and junior classes, freshmen Sami Hall, Maddison Pouncey, Reese Skipper; sophomores Emily Kalifa, Abby Larkin, Ali McDaniel; and juniors Caylyn Campbell, Kadence Clemmons and Maddie Cooper.

Robertsdale High School wrapped up the week of festivities with the Homecoming Parade on Thursday and the Homecoming Dance on Saturday.

“Arabian Nights” was the theme for this year’s Homecoming and students celebrated with daily dress-up days which followed a Disney theme.

The annual Homecoming Dance was held Saturday at the Baldwin County Coliseum in Robertsdale.
