Chambers host first Business After Hours of 2020

The Coastal Alabama Business Chamber and South Baldwin Chamber of Commerce teamed up for the first Business After Hours of 2020, hosted at Legends in Concert OWA. The event brought out hundreds of members from both chambers, and featured food catered by Wahlburgers, Trattoria, Crazy Donuts, and Legends.

“I’m just blown away by the turnout tonight; this is way more than we ever expected,” said Kristin Hellmich, director or marketing and public relations at OWA. “In February of last year, there was a dirt floor in this building, and in three months we constructed this theater and in four months we opened this venue to have the very first tribute artists take the stage.”

Currently Legends is not showcasing artists, but the lineup will return on Feb. 7 to feature “Two Kings and a Queen” as tributes to Michael Jackson, Elvis, and Tina Turner take to the stage.

“We are very excited about this new lineup. It’s going to be electric and we cannot wait for you to come see it,” Hellmich said.

Legends just concluded hosting its first ever touring Broadway show, Menopause the Musical. The staff plans to host more Broadway tours in the future.
