Doris Barfield Cronin, age 92, resident of Fairhope, Alabama, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 22, 2018.
Doris was a member of First Baptist Church and graduate of University of South Alabama. She was a writer and a contestant in Mrs. Senior Mobile and Baldwin County.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon Cronin Sr.; and great-grandson, Justin Wainwright.
She is survived by her children, Gordon Cronin Jr. "Buddy" and spouse Dana of Dexter, Minnesota, Michael L. Cronin of Denham Springs, Louisiana, Patricia Cronin Davis and spouse Wren of Graham, North Carolina; five grandchildren, Dawn Cronin Dunbar, Allison Terrell, Kathleen Dugger, Gordon Cronin III, Trapper Davis; five great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; nephews and other loving relatives.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, Aug. 27, 2018 at 1 p.m. from the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until the time of the service.
Interment will follow in Colony Cemetery.
