ROBERTSDALE, Alabama — Farm Fresh Meats announced that the longtime Robertsdale business was re-opening on Tuesday after all of its employees tested negative for COVID-19.

“We are so thankful for each and every one of our wonderful customers that have shown us the utmost support during this extremely difficult time,” according to a post on Farm Fresh’s Facebook page on Monday.

On Wednesday, June 10, Farm Fresh announced that it would temporarily close after one of its employees was exposed to someone who tested positive for coronavirus.

Co-owner Erin Childress Salyers said Tuesday that they had everyone tested as a precautionary measure after one of its employees had a friend who tested positive for the virus.

“Everyone tested negative, we had the business professionally cleaned and we are really excited to be back open,” she said.

In the post on Monday, it was stated, “You can rest easy knowing that our building is super clean and germ Free!!!! … Excited is an understatement … we seriously can’t wait to get back to ‘normal.’”

“Again, from the bottom of our hearts, thank you so much for all of your support!!!”
