Foley High School is excited to announce its 2018 Homecoming festivities. Homecoming is Friday, Sept. 21 against the Baker Hornets. This year’s theme is “Exterminate the Hornets”. To continue the community spirit of last year’s activities, Foley High School invites the entire community to participate with us during Homecoming week.

During the week of Homecoming, take a walking tour of downtown Foley and see the Homecoming windows painted by Foley High School clubs and feeder schools.

The Homecoming parade is scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 20, at 5 p.m. The parade will begin at Foley Middle School, head south on Pine Street, turn east on Highway 98, turn south on Alston Street, turn west on Roosevelt Avenue, turn north on Oak Street, turn east on Verbena Street, turn north on Alston Street, turn east on Violet Avenue, to finish at the beautiful Heritage Park gazebo. Participants in the parade include many Foley High School clubs, the Mighty Band from Lion Land, as well as feeder school representatives.

Immediately following the parade will be the 12th Annual “Leo in the Park,” a community pep rally at the gazebo in Heritage Park located at Highway 59 and Highway 98. The community is invited to attend as we celebrate Foley High School. Participants will include the Junior Varsity and Varsity Cheerleaders, Football players, the Mighty Band from Lion Land, words from Principal Russ Moore, and head football coach, Tad Niblett, and an introduction of the Homecoming Court. In addition, Carl Major, who will serve as this year’s Grand Marshal, will be introduced.
