Helen Margaret Smith, age 92, a resident of Daphne, Alabama, passed away Sunday, March 1, 2020.
Helen was a member of Jubilee Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 74 years, Clifford Smith; granddaughter, Michelle Jones; sisters, Eleanor Jones , Louise Maloy and Dorothy Baker.
She is survived by her daughter, Beverly Smith of Fairhope, Alabama; one brother, Cecil (Aer) Ray of Santa Rosa Beach, Florida; two grandchildren, Teresa Ernest and Geoffrey Jones; three great-grandchildren, Elizabeth Ernest, Caroline Ernest, all of Fairhope, Alabama, Bailey Plash of Gulf Shores, and numerous nieces, nephews and other loving relatives and friends.
The family would like to thank Diversified Health Care for their caring support and a special thank you to Dr. Cameron , Dr. Liston Jones and Kindred Care for everything they did during this difficult time.
Funeral services will be held from Jubilee Baptist Church, Saturday, March 7, 2020 at 2:00pm.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Mitchell Cancer Center.
