Loxley Optimist Club to hold annual Fishing Rodeo Saturday

LOXLEY, Alabama — On Saturday, May 11, the Loxley Optimist Club will hold its annual Youth Fishing Rodeo. The event will be held at the Dean Black Pond in Loxley (across from the First Baptist Church of Loxley) from 8 a.m. to noon.

The fishing rodeo is for boys and girls age 13 and under. Admission is free. Participants must bring their own fishing gear. There will be limited bait available. Awards and door prizes will be presented and lunch will be provided by the Loxley Optimist Club.
