Magnolia Springs celebrates Arbor Day 2018

Magnolia Springs celebrated Arbor Day 2018 on Feb. 17 outside of the town’s Volunteer Fire Department from 8-11 a.m. The event was sponsored by the Magnolia Springs Garden Club, with Joy Zeanah as the 2018 Arbor Day Chair and Gerry Lester President. During the event, everyone was welcome to search through the offerings and choose from Fringe tree, Sand Oak, Long Leaf Pine, Yellow Poplar, Sweetbay Magnolia, Red Buckeye, Crab Apple and Wax Myrtle to take home or another place in the community to plant and help keep the county green.
