ROBERTSDALE, Alabama -- The skies parted and the storms stayed away as crowds enjoyed two nights of rodeo action Friday and Saturday, March 8 and 9 at the 20th Annual PCA Championship Rodeo presented by the Robertsdale Rotary Foundation under the arena at the Baldwin County Coliseum and Fairgrounds in Robertsdale.

The event is part of the RAM Rodeo series and is produced by Bo Campbell Production. Attendees enjoyed roping, steer wrestling, saddle bronc riding, barrel racing and everyone’s favorite, bull riding, along with featured entertainment.

Several Baldwin County residents walked away with prizes during the 20th annual PCA Championship Rodeo, part of the Ram Rodeo series, presented March 8 and 9 by the Robertsdale Rotary Club.

Rotary Club President Jeff Plato and incoming President Cheryl Russell presented bicycles to winners on Friday night, with Plato doing the honors for Saturday night’s winners. Bicycles were presented courtesy of Walmart and the bicycle sponsor was Bryant Bank.

The Rotary Club also raffled an admissions package to OWA during the event and rodeo attendees got the opportunity to sign up for a prize package from Ram Rodeo.

Participants also bought chances to win one of three prizes with the drawing held during the Tuesday, March 12 Rotary Club meeting at Mama Lou’s.

Talmage Cain was the first prize winner, opting to receive the Henry Golden Boy .45 Long Colt Rifle from Campbell Hardware, pictured with Russell and Ashley Wingo Kucera from Campbell Hardware.
