Bailey Kennon Wyatt joins Gulf Coast Media in advertising role

Posted

Gulf Coast Media has named Gulf Coast native Bailey Kennon Wyatt as a sales representative serving businesses in the southern portion of Baldwin County and along the Gulf Coast, Publisher Vince Johnson announced this week.

In her new role, Wyatt will work with organizations on advertising solutions and community partnerships, specifically in the Gulf Shores, Orange Beach, South Foley and Pensacola areas.

“The Gulf Coast is my home, and I was fortunate to grow up in this beautiful community,” Wyatt said. “I have a passion for helping local businesses and am so excited to be able to be a part of the great things Gulf Coast Media is doing for Baldwin County.”

Wyatt grew up in Orange Beach before attending the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Since graduation, Wyatt has built her own marketing business, working with organizations across the southeast. She’s a former Miss Coastal Alabama, as well Miss Alabama and Miss Alabama USA finalist, and was recently married to her husband, Clay.

“We’re thrilled to have Bailey’s expertise and energy on our team as we build a first-rate local media organization for Baldwin County,” Johnson, who was named publisher earlier this month, said. “As we really start expanding our digital products, video and podcasting options, social media, email newsletters and more for readers and advertisers around the region, Bailey’s wide range of talent will help us rapidly provide next-level solutions for our customers.”

In addition to working on developing initiatives with Gulf Coast Media, Wyatt will play a lead advertising role in The Islander, The Baldwin Times, Beachin’ magazine, the Gulf Coast Visitor’s Guide, Best of Baldwin and more.
