July 1

The Wharf, Orange Beach

The Wharf will kick off Independence Day weekend with the annual Pepsi® Beach Ball Drop on July 1 from 5-9 p.m. when 4,000 beach balls fall from above Marlin Circle – some specially marked for redeemable prizes. There will be a variety of kids’ activities through the night. The fireworks will snap, crackle and pop to the beat of a patriotic-themed musical element at 8:45 p.m. with the SPECTRA Laser Light Experience to immediately follow at the end of the evening.

July 2

OWA, Foley

On Friday, July 2, guests can enjoy two classes from Paint Art Live and two performances of Wonder at the Downtown OWA Splash Pad. The night will conclude with a free showing of National Treasure at the OWA Island beginning at 8:30 p.m.

July 3

Bay Minette

City of Bay Minette fireworks spectacular, sponsored by the Bay Minette Rotary Club, begins at dusk (around 9 p.m.) Saturday, July 3. This year the fireworks will be shot from the Baldwin County High School soccer field, located next to the new city of Bay Minette softball complex. For more information call 251-580-1619.

Magnolia Springs

The Town of Magnolia Springs will host its Annual 4th of July Parade and Celebration on Saturday, July 3. Lineup begins at 10 a.m. on Woodland Drive, and the parade will roll at 10:30. The parade route travels from Woodland Drive to Oak Street to the Magnolia Springs Community Hall. The event ends with a free hot dog lunch at the Volunteer Fire Station. The lunch is provided by the Magnolia Springs Community Association, the Magnolia Springs Volunteer Fire Department, Jesse’s Restaurant, and the Town of Magnolia Springs. The Magnolia Springs council will be onsite at the fire station to serve free watermelon provided by the town.

OWA, Foley

On Saturday, July 3, enjoy three complimentary kids’ crafts plus an all-day scavenger hunt for families. Uncle Sam and Rosie the Riveter will be making special appearances in The Park at OWA for photo opportunities. At 4:30 p.m., live music will begin with Dumb Moneys followed by Southern Approach at 7 p.m. on the OWA Island. Two performances of Wonder will take place at 6:30 and 8 p.m.

Perdido Beach Resort, Orange Beach

Summerdale

The Town of Summerdale will host its Annual 4th of July fireworks display on Saturday, July 3. The display will begin at 9 p.m. Everyone is invited to gather in Downtown Summerdale to enjoy the display and to grab free watermelon served and provided by the town council.

July 4

Daphne

Daphne Fireworks Display will be held at Al Trione Sports Complex, 8600 Whispering Pines Road, Daphne, from 9 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. For more information call 251-620-1000.

Elberta

“Sunday Funday” will be taking place on Sunday, July 4 at Faust Fields at Siebert Lane (15763 County Road 83). The 30-minute fireworks display will begin at 8:30 p.m. Prior to the fireworks show, attendees are encouraged to arrive early to grab their parking spot before partaking in fun and free activities. A bounce house obstacle course will be onsite for kids to enjoy before the display, and the Youth Sports Association food truck will be selling concessions. All proceeds from concessions will go towards the Youth Sports Association.

Fairhope

Fairhope’s Fourth of July celebration and fireworks display will be held at Fairhope Municipal Pier, 4 North Beach Road, Fairhope. Baldwin Pops concert begins at 7 p.m. on the bluffs. Fireworks begin at 9 p.m. at the pier.

Fort Morgan

The Beach Club Fort Morgan fireworks 9 p.m.

Gulf Shores

City of Gulf Shores fireworks at Gulf State Pier 9 p.m.

Orange Beach

Flora-Bama’s Freedom Run – 6 a.m.

OWA, Foley

On Sunday, July 4, get ready for more special guests, kids’ activities, and the return of DJ Patrick. New for 2021, OWA will host the inaugural 4th of July Street Parade led by Southwinds, a 70-piece brass band from Mobile featuring horns, drums and color guard. The parade begins at 2 p.m.

Guests can join in the parade in their patriotic best to celebrate Independence Day and enter for a chance to win cash prizes. A $10 donation to Operation Reconnect registers guests for the parade and enters them into the costume contest. Pre-registration is available online, or register in-person beginning at 1 p.m. on the OWA Island on July 4.

Following the parade, Bruce Smelley Band will play at 4:30 p.m., followed by the Troy Laz Band from New Orleans. The night will end with a fireworks display beginning at 8:45 p.m. sharp, with “what OWA promises will be their biggest and longest firework celebration yet,” followed by more music from Troy Laz Band on the OWA Island.

Robertsdale

The City of Robertsdale will host a kickoff celebration for the city’s 100th anniversary with events scheduled Sunday, July 4 at the PZK Hall and Garrett Park. Events begin at 10 a.m. at the PZK Hall on Alabama 104 (Silverhill Avenue), including a car and tractor show, “100 years of Robertsdale” museum inside, art contest and exhibits. There will also be food vendors and memorabilia. Events shift to Garrett Park at 4 p.m. with a food truck and concessions. Official ceremony begins with the National Anthem at 5:30, awards and introduction of the Centennial Queens, followed by entertainment from 6 to 8 p.m., there will be entertainment provided by Brittany Grimes and Wylie Pete with the city’s annual fireworks show kickoff off at dark, around 9 p.m.
