New assisted living facility proposed in Fairhope

An application to construct and operate a 32-bed specialty care assisted living facility as part of a continuing care community in Fairhope is under consideration by the State Health Planning and Development Agency. This is being done pursuant to the provisions of Title 22, Chapter 21, Article 9, Code of Alabama, 1975. This could result in the issuance of a Certificate of Need.

The application was submitted by Dominion Senior Living of Fairhope LLC.

The cost of the proposed project would be $6,654,926.

Interested parties who wish to submit written statements or indicate a desire to appear before the Certificate of Need Review Board, must do so on or before June 8 and provide a copy of statements to Loree J. Skelton, Esquire, P.O. Box 26214, Birmingham, Alabama 35260. The application number is AL2021-032.
