Posted

Throughout the month of October, The Wharf at Orange Beach will host a variety of free, family friendly events including Totally 80’s Girls’ Night Out, Hall-O-Wharf and several concerts in The Wharf Amphitheater. In addition, the property will turn pink in solidarity of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

“We are thrilled to partner with South Baldwin Regional Medical Center again this year to help empower women and support the fight for a cure at our Totally 80’s Girls’ Night Out event,” said Sheena Mizell, Marketing Director at The Wharf. “’Off-season’ is a thing of the past around here, and there is something for everyone happening this fall. We welcome families to come out and join us as we celebrate the new season.”

October activations include:

Come out for a fun, family friendly time.

Totally 80’s Girls’ Night Out presented by South Baldwin Regional Medical Center

Oct. 15, 5 p.m. – 8 p.m.

Free to attend, donations welcome

Hey, girl! Get ready for a blast from the past. This means it’s time to pull those hair crimpers from storage and join us for the second annual Totally 80’s Girls' Night Out at The Wharf complete with exclusive deals, food, beverages, and prizes aplenty. We’re giving you an excuse to dress up with friends and indulge in a little retail therapy, all while benefiting the Baldwin County Child Advocacy Center. Like, duh, who wouldn’t want to attend? South Baldwin Regional Medical Center Women’s Imaging Center will be hosting a special “Martinis + Mammos” segment at Ginny Lane where event goers will receive a complimentary “pink-tini” and learn about the importance of mammograms, digital mammography, ultrasounds, and bone density. Individual merchants will also be hosting their own activations within their stores as part of the lineup. Other activities include wine tastings, a costume contest, dancing in the street with DJ Silky and more.

Hall-O-Wharf

Oct. 30, 6 p.m. – 9 p.m.

Free to attend, some activities cost

Come if you dare for a skele-TON of family fun! The night will be filled with trick or treating, hayrides, a bouncy house, surf simulator, rock wall, camel rides and a spooky, musical-themed fireworks display to end the night! There will also be a costume contest for ages 0-5 and 6-10 — 1st, 2nd + 3rd place prizes will be awarded in each age group. The event will take place on Main Street at The Wharf and will end, of course, with the SPECTRA Laser Light Experience show.

Ticket prices vary

Top country-music artist Jason Aldean and special guests Hardy, Lainey Wilson, John Morgan and Dee Jay Silver will perform on Halloween night. This event is a rescheduled date from a weather-related cancellation. This concert marks the final C Spire Concert Series show for 2021.
