The Baldwin County Music Teachers Association held its annual Senior Student Recital on May 1 at 3:00 pm at the Steinway Piano Gallery in Spanish Fort. This event is held annually during National Music Week to highlight the graduating music students. Pictured above are the two pianists who performed for an audience of family and friends.
Greta Fritz moved here from California and resumed her piano studies in 2016 with Tammy
Dennis. She will be graduating this month from Fairhope High School and plans to attend Auburn University in the fall. Being a gifted artist she plans to major in fine arts.
Evan Ren moved to this area from Illinois while in the eighth grade and upon entering high school transferred to Daphne High School and enrolled in the IB program. He will graduate on May 18 and and plans to attend Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island, pursuing a career in neuroscience.

At the conclusion of the recital each student was presented a Certificate of Achievement signed by their teachers and the president-elect of the BCMTA, Christy Meyers.
