Best Of Baldwin 2022 is here!

The wait for the chance to be crowned as the Best Of Baldwin is over. The staff at Gulf Coast Media is thrilled to announce that Best Of Baldwin 2022 is now live! Get ready to nominate all of your Baldwin County favorites to help them come out on top. With over 400 categories, including some brand-new ones, this year promises to be the best yet!

The contest has two phases: the nomination phase and the voting phase.
Nominations will run from Wednesday, Sept. 8 at midnight to Sunday, Oct. 3 at 11:59 p.m. During nominations, participants can nominate their favorites once per day per category. Nominations must be located within Baldwin County to qualify in the contest. Nominations are free and open to the public. A one-time registration is required to participate.

Once nominations end, the contest will go dark for a short time before voting begins. During that time, the top five nominees in each category will advance to become finalists in the voting round. Finalists will be notified by the Gulf Coast Media marketing representatives.

Voting will last from Wednesday, Oct. 20 at midnight through Sunday, Nov. 21 at 11:59 p.m. As with the nomination phase, participants will be able to vote once per day per category.

The first, second and third place winners will be announced in the Best Of Baldwin 2022 publication and online at gulfcoastnewstoday.com/bestof2022. Winners will be announced in February 2022.

For the first time ever, first place winners will be honored during a Red Carpet Event scheduled for February 2022. Event details will be announced at a later date. First place winners will also receive a framed “Best Of Baldwin 2022” certificate, a “Best Of Baldwin 2022” window cling, a .pdf of the “Best Of Baldwin 2022” logo for use in future advertising, and bragging rights to be called the “Best Of Baldwin 2022” for their type of business or organization.
