Capt. Thomas “Brian” Cain

Capt. Thomas "Brian" Cain, age 52, of Orange Beach, Alabama, passed away Sunday, March 24, 2019 at his residence.

He was born Sept. 29, 1966 in Bessemer, Alabama, and was a longtime resident of McCalla, Alabama.

He was a 1986 graduate of McAdory High School. He was a member of West Side Baptist Church (now The Baptist Church of McAdory).

He worked many years at Hardy Services in Birmingham until his father's health began declining and he moved to Orange Beach to help with the family charter fishing business, Lady C Charters.

Brian loved fishing, golf and spending time with the family, especially the cookouts.

He was preceded in death by his dad, Capt. Thomas "Boots" Cain; his grandparents, Mason and Virginia Cain, Frank and Ida Lindsey, all of Hueytown, Alabama.

He is survived by his mother, Frances Lindsey Cain, Orange Beach, Alabama; daughter, Kia Renee Cain, Ohio; sister, Cheryl Cain (Paul "Buddy") Garrett of Mobile, Alabama; aunt, Florence (Joe) Beasley, Bessemer, Alabama; nieces, Lindsey Carol Smith and Jordan Nicole Smith; twin great-nieces, Lyla Rose and Aubrie Nicole Stringham, all of Orange Beach, Alabama.

A memorial will be held at a later date.
