The Baldwin County Emergency Management in partnership with the Center for Domestic Preparedness is offering free training. Classes will be here at the emergency operations center, 23100 McAuliffe Drive, in Robertsdale. The minimum enrollment for the classes is five and the maximum is 35.
The schedule is:
Monday, Aug. 2, hazmat training
Tuesday, Aug. 3, public Information training
Wednesday, Aug. 4, healthcare training
Each day offers serval classes of various lengths. You may choose all classes or just the ones that interest you.
To register for the classes you must have a FEMA SID number. To get one, go to: https://cdp.dhs.gov/FEMASID and click “Register for FEMA SID” or click “Forgot FEMA SID?” if you have forgotten your FEMA SID.
• Registering for a FEMA SID number does not register you for this class. You must apply for the class separately.
