David Lynn Barton passed away February 20, 2021 in Fairhope. He was preceded in death by his Father, Donal K. Barton. He was survived by Mother, Geraldine M. Bardon; Sister, Barbara Ann Barton; and Brother, William Keith Barton. He was also survived by Daughter, Bonnie Barnes Duke; Granddaughter, Jessica Lauran Leonard; Grandson, William Jackson Duke; and Granddaughter, Chloe Holland Parker. Barton was a U.S. Navy veteran, having served the Vietnam War. He worked his entire career as a construction inspector for engineering firms and for the City of Gulf Shores. He retired and started working as a consultant and V.P. for Mowa. He will be cremated and his ashes will be spread in Marietta, GA and Gautier, MS.
