MAGNOLIA SPRINGS - There’s lots of exciting events coming up this week at the Magnolia Springs Public Library, and they’re all free to join in the fun.

First, come out to the library on Thursday, Oct. 21 at 4 p.m. to listen to local enthusiast Lee Yokel and get inspired to write. Sit for a while for some friendly conversation at the picnic tables and enjoy some refreshments while you talk about the art of writing. Did you know November is National Novel Writing Month? Writers around the world will be challenging themselves to write every day of the month. For anyone who is ready to write but is having trouble getting started, come out to the library on Thursday to get inspired.

Then, on Saturday, Oct. 23 from 10:30 - 11:30 a.m., drop by the library and enjoy Halloween stories and pumpkin decorating. Afterwards, head over to the Magnolia Springs Firefighters Festival and the Wesleyan Fall Fest to enjoy even more activities.

Both events are free and no reservations are required. The Magnolia Springs Public Library is located at 14794 Camellia Street. For more information on these events and more, contact Library Director Paige Monaghan at 251-965-2305.
