Doreen Ann Hamby, 61, native of Gloucester, Mass., and a resident of Foley, passed away on Sunday, Aug. 22.
Doreen loved taking care of her family and animals.
She is survived by her loving husband, Weldon Hamby; son, Michael Weldon (Sandra) Hamby; daughter, Elizabeth Hamby all of Foley; seven grandchildren, Christian Hamby of Foley, Victoria (Kollin) Amerson of Orange Beach, Angelina Hamby, Tyler Hamby, Nicholas Hamby, Scarlett Hamby, and Noah Hamby all of Foley; brother, Victor Lochrico of Foley; sister, Marsha Ewing of Fairhope.
A Celebration of Doreen’s Life was held at the Foley Chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Homes on Thursday, Aug. 26, at 3 p.m. Family received friends one hour prior to service.
