Elliott Wayne “Cal” Calloway, age 77, a native of Point Clear, Alabama, and a resident of Foley, Alabama, passed away Thursday, Sept. 30, 2021.
Cal retired from the U. S. Navy, was active in the First Baptist Church of Foley, and was an avid Alabama Football fan.
Mr. Calloway was preceded in death by his wife: Elizabeth “Betty” Calloway and brother, Lynwood Peyton Calloway.
He is survived by his wife, Jeanette Calloway; daughters, Stacy Shanon Calloway McNair (Scott) and Jennifer Ann Nelson; granddaughter, Kelsey Alexis Chambers McNair Hardy (Kaleb); brother, Ray Calloway (Kay); sister, Zelda Calloway; nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held from the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope, on Monday, Oct. 4, 2021, at 2 p.m. The family received friends an hour prior to service.
Interment will follow in Memory Gardens of Fairhope.
