Foley schools show Lion Pride during homecoming parade

Posted

The Foley schools showed some Lion Pride during this year’s homecoming parade, held on Wednesday, Oct. 13. The parade featured floats, cars, and school organizations showing their support prior to the homecoming game against Mary G. Montgomery on Friday, Oct. 15.

Homecoming week themes were White Lie Wednesday, First Letter of Your Name Thursday (with ‘S’ standing for ‘Sink the Vikings”), and Friday was Hippie Day.

This year’s parade saw a change in route, bringing the parade through the intersection of Highway 98 and Alston Street twice before turning on Chicago Street to head to Heritage Park for Leo in the Park.
