Hurricane Sally blew into the area and blew the Miss Shrimp Festival Pageant right off the September calendar. Pageant organizers are working to secure a new date.

Miss Shrimp Festival Pageant is presented by Coastal Alabama Business Chamber and the National Annual Shrimp Festival. All proceeds are donated to Orange Beach Elementary and Gulf Shores Elementary school.

The pageant is still taking registration for young ladies in fifth through twelfth grade. Applications, information and updates can be found on the Miss Shrimp Festival Pageant Facebook page or email littlemissshrimpfestival@gmail.com for more information.
