Spanish Fort Middle School hosted its annual Young Writers’ Conference on Wednesday, Jan. 10.

Gulf Coast Media Sports Editor Cole McNanna was invited to return as one of the featured guests who visited with students. He talked about sports journalism, the different types of stories written and how they all end up in the newspaper and on social media.
