Imogene Purvis Eddins, age 90, of Foley, AL passed away peacefully from this earthly world and made her heavenly transition on September 11, 2020. Imogene was born to William T and Agnes Purvis in Meridian, MS and lived in Demopolis, AL and Tuscaloosa, Al before moving to Foley. She retired from Gulf States Paper, Tuscaloosa, AL in 1992. She was preceded in death by her husband of 73 years, Thomas H Eddins, her oldest son, Thomas Darrell Eddins of Rosebud, Texas, 1 grand daughter and 1 great-grand daughter. She is survived by 2 children, Cotton Eddins of Demopolis, AL and Belinda Johnson of Foley, AL; 9 grand children and 19 great grandchildren. She was cremated and a Celebration of Live Service will be held at a later date when travel restrictions are lifted.
