James “Jim” Wallace Morgan, age 70, a resident of Foley, AL, passed away Saturday, April 10, 2021. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather, and cherished his family dearly. He coached women’s softball team, Paw Paw’s Cowgirls, who ranked 7th in the nation. Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Juanita and Earl Brooks; sons, Trevor and Ty T. Morgan; father-in-law, Harold Robinson; grandparents, Buck and Nonie Taylor. His survivors include his wife of 44 years, Shari R. Morgan of Foley; children; Tonya Morgan-Norsworthy of Foley, Troy Morgan of Elberta, Marja Morgan of Elberta and Tierney Smith (Jamie) of Lakeland, GA; mother-in-law, Margie Robinson; grandchildren, Derek, Nic, Christian, Zack, Ryan, Morgan, Hunter, Branton, Chancelor, and Tiara; eleven great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and many other loving relatives and friends. Visitation will be held Thursday, April 15, 2021, at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Foley, from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Foley, Friday, April 16, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Wynn Cemetery in Summerdale. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Fairhope Christian Church or Wounded Warriors.
