John Kenneth Brown Sr. passed away on August 20 at age 75. He was a country boy at heart and grew up water-skiing and swimming with the alligators in Seminole, Alabama. After graduating from Robertsdale High School, he went on to serve 20 long years in the U.S. Navy for his country, doing tours on P-3 aircraft, and numerous aircraft carriers deploying all over the world. Country & Western music filled his heart, and he was able to spread happiness with his singing and his guitar whenever and wherever he could. Hawaii is where he met his wife and picked up the Polynesian fire dance. He had three sons. His songs of life may be gone, but may his soul live on forever in peace in the hearts of those who remember his music, and in the waters of that old Styx River.
