Mildred Greene Stanley, 84, a resident of Spanish Fort passed away on Friday, October 16, 2020. Mildred was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Spanish Fort. She enjoyed travelling, eating out, and making her famous pound cakes for any and all occasions. She was preceded in death by her first husband Billy Greene. She is survived by her loving husband Windom Stanley; daughters Donna (Chip) Bohannon of Ft. Worth, TX and Debbie (Steve) Botter of Spanish Fort; son Darrel Greene of Spanish Fort; step-daughter Sharon (John) Cowing of Gulf Shores, AL; sister Betty (Jerry) Hasting of Walnut Hill, FL. She doted on her 5 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday October 21, 2020 at 11:00am at the Chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Daphne. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment to follow at Alabama State Veterans Memorial in Spanish Fort. Because of the flower restriction at the Veterans Cemetery, the family asks for donations to the First Baptist Church of Spanish Fort.
