Preston Maxson, 88, a resident of Lillian, AL passed away on Tuesday, April 20, 2021. He graduated from Glen Falls High School in 1950 and Georgia Tech in 1955. He served in the US Army and was a former resident of Pearl, MS. He is survived by his wife, Ethel Ewing Maxson, Lillian, AL; daughter, Lisa Judson, Columbus, MS; sons, Daniel Maxson, Acworth, GA, Robert Maxson, Atlanta, GA, David Maxson, Stone Mountain, GA; 7 grandchildren; Ethel’s children, Weyman Maxson, Woodbury, GA, Raymond Scott Maxson, Daphne, AL, Walter Brian Maxson, Westminster, CO. The family will receive friends, 11:00 AM, Saturday, May 1, 2021 at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Foley, AL. A funeral service will follow in the chapel. Interment to follow at Shell Banks Baptist Cemetery, Gulf Shores, AL.
