In Loving Memory of Robin Lynn Scott

Robin Lynn Scott, age 67, a resident of Elberta, Alabama, passed away on Jan. 1, 2024. Robin’s journey through life was marked by love, resilience, and a deep connection to family. He shared 42 wonderful years of marriage with his beloved wife, Donna McDowell Scott, who preceded him in death in 2019. Their union blessed them with two sons, Jonathan, and Eric Scott. Robin embraced the joys of family life, reveling in the roles of husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, son, brother, uncle, son-in-law, and friend. He leaves behind a legacy of love, support, laughter, and invaluable memories.

Professionally, Robin’s commitment and expertise at Kimberly-Clark spanned over 40 years. His dedication to the company is respected and exemplified as he worked his way up to the position of master data programmer. Beyond his professional achievement, Robin’s personal qualities of diligence and leadership were evident in all aspects of his life. He approached challenges with a determination that inspired those around him, leaving a lasting legacy of hard work and accomplishment.

Robin had a passion for exploration. He loved to travel, and his adventures took him around the world, creating cherished memories that will forever linger in the hearts of those who knew him. His positive spirit, kindness, and zest for life touched the hearts of many, and he will be dearly missed.

Robin Lynn Scott is survived by his sons, Jonathan (Jamie) Scott of Bay Minette, Alabama and Eric (Breann) Scott of Ammon, Idaho; brothers, Nathan (Helen Wingard) Scott of Wilmer, Alabama, Sam (Donna) Scott of Loxley, Alabama, JoJo (Rae) Scott of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, Dan (Pam) Scott of Denver, Colorado, Ray (Christie) Scott of Tampa, Florida; sister, Laura Scott of Daphne, Alabama; grandchildren, Caleb, Carlee, Alec, Lyla, Owen, and Rose; great-grandson, Taite Daughtry, and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Funeral services were held Wed., Jan. 10, 2024, at 1:00 pm at the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home – Foley with Dr. Chip Starnes officiating. The burial followed at Elberta Public Cemetery.      

The family received friends Wed., Jan. 10, 2024, from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home – Foley.

In lieu of flowers the family requests a memorial contribution be made to First Baptist Church – Women on Mission in Bay Minette, AL. at 1201 Hand Ave., Bay Minette, AL. 36507.
