On Dec. 11, the Foley Police Department, along with the Baldwin County Department of Human Resources launched an investigation into possible sexual abuse involving a child after receiving information from a concerned source. The investigation that followed confirmed the abuse. Corey Ashton Steele, age 32 from Loxley, and a female friend Krystal Sanspree, age 30 from Foley, were both arrested. Through the investigation it was determined that Steele solicited pictures from Sanspree of her performing sexual acts with her four year old son. The pictures were sent over the phone to Steele. Both parties made admissions to investigators. Krystal Sanspree is being charged with Sexual Abuse of a Child less than the age of 12, Sodomy First Degree, 4 Counts of Production of Child Pornography, and 4 Counts of Dissemination of Child Pornography.
