Stanislaw “Stanley” Tomasz Prokop, 75, a resident of Fairhope, passed away on Saturday, Aug. 28.
After Stanley retired, he and his wife, Jadwiga, moved to Fairhope three years ago to be closer their family and grandchildren. He lived a healthy life, loved to read, play music, and he loved his family.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 51 years, Jadwiga Prokop of Fairhope; devoted daughter Betty Prokop (Donald Gorczyca) of Hilliard, Ohio; loving son, Arthur (Monika) Prokop of Fairhope; sister, Maria (Zdzisław) Zielinski of Lancaster, N.Y.; grandchildren, Max Prokop, Alex Prokop, and Julia Prokop; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at St. Lawrence Catholic Church on Friday, Sept. 3, at 11 a.m. with visitation beginning one hour prior to the mass.
Interment will be in Memory Gardens of Fairhope, Alabama.
