Daphne’s offense scored 30 points in the first half and led 37-0 before FHS answered. DHS quarterback Trent Battle led with a 43-yard touchdown run on the Trojans’ first drive.

He also connected for a TD-pass that was deflected by a Foley player, but was caught by Kaden Blackwell for a 19-yard DHS score. The Trojans defense also picked up a safety in the first quarter to lead 16-0.

In the second quarter, Battle threw to Travis Crum for a 70-yard TD and a 23-0 lead. Crum scored again on a pass from junior quarterback Kaden Pierce for 64 yards. DHS scored in the second half on a third-and-goal run by Nicholas Bennett.

Foley scored in the third quarter on a third-and-goal run by Marquise Mosely. Forrest Taylor kicked a 37-yard field goal for the Lions to cap the scoring.
