William “Bill” Alan Keller, age 93, a resident of Barnwell, Alabama, passed away Monday, Sept. 20, 2021.
Bill was a farmer and was involved with his community, which he loved. He was a member of the Barnwell Community Association, Brook Cedron Cemetery Administration, and an initial Board Member of the Baldwin County 9-1-1. Bill also served as the Chief of the Barnwell Volunteer Fire Department for 14 years. He served during the Korean War Conflict and was stationed in Alaska.
Bill was preceded in death by his wife of 71 years, Albina Rezner Keller; and his parents, Charles C. and Laura Bell Keller.
Bill is survived by his daughters, Diane Keller (Lou Watt), Jeanne Taylor (Will), Laura Keller; grandsons, Dr. Nicholas Nolte, Blake Nolte; three great-grandsons; along with many loved relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held Thursday, Sept. 23, 2021, from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. at the Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope.
Graveside services will follow at 2:30 p.m. at Brook Cedron Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Barnwell Volunteer Fire Department.
