Emily Wolf, the most decorated thrower in the history of Foley's track and field program, added to her trophy case this weekend at the Nike Outdoor Nationals at Hayward Field in Eugene, Oregon.

A discus throw of 126' 11" (38.69 meters) was good enough to win a bronze medal from the emerging elite division against top talent from across the country. Wolf also recorded an eighth-place finish in the shot put with a distance of 38' 2.75" (11.65 meters).

The Montevallo signee's historic high school career finished with a bang this spring after she was in the running for MileSplit Alabama's junior athlete of the year last season.

Following a bronze medal in the shot put at the indoor state championships, Wolf collected a gold medal in the shot put and silver medal in the discus as well as a fifth-place finish in the javelin at the outdoor state championships.

The Lions' record books feature plenty of Wolf's marks according to athletic.net, including the best shot put (41' 2") and discus (127' 8") as well as the second-best javelin throw (111' 8") on the outdoor circuit. Also at the indoor state meet, Wolf collected the indoor shot put school record at 38' 6".

Wolf also contributed to a state record as a junior where the Foley throwers were responsible for 53 points toward the team score at the Class 7A Section 1 championship which was more than any other team in the state that outdoor season.
