Community Hospice Foundation to host annual fundraising event-Harvest for Hope

Posted

The Community Hospice Foundation of Baldwin County (CHFBC) will host its annual fundraising event on Friday, Nov. 1 from 6 p.m. - 11 p.m. Proceeds from donations and our annual fundraiser, Harvest for Hope, go to the CHFBC, a non-profit organization formed to support individuals and families of those affected by a terminal illness by offering financial support, education, bereavement and advocacy.

“When a specific, special need arises in our community, we do our best to help,” said Community Hospice Foundation Board Member Martha Allegri. “Whether it be putting food on the table, helping cover travel expenses for a family member or building a wheelchair ramp for a community member, we want people to know they are not alone during this challenging time. It’s a privilege for us to provide additional support to members of this community in their final months, and events like Harvest for Hope on Oct. 1, 2021 make this possible.”

At the event, there will be live entertainment by Alabama-based Tip Tops Band, a high-energy Motown dance and show band. Event goers can also purchase Drawdown tickets with a grand prize of $5,000 and participate in a silent auction. Delicious food and select beverages including a signature drink will be provided with ticket purchase. Tickets are available for purchase on communityhospiceAL.org and Eventbrite. The CHFBC is currently seeking sponsors for the event. If your company is interested, please contact Susan Cox at 251-424-3307.
