The Fort Morgan Fire Rescue Ladies Auxiliary will hold a fish fry dinner and bake sale fundraiser Oct. 16. The annual fundraiser raises funds for the Fireman’s Benevolence Fund. The annual spaghetti dinner held in March raised $3,000.

This year’s event will take place Oct. 16 from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. at Fire Station 1. For a donation of $8, each meal includes a plate of fried mullet with sides. Delicious home-baked breads, cakes, cookies, brownies and other assorted baked goods will be available for purchase. The Ladies Auxiliary Cookbook will also be available for purchase by cash or check only.

Fort Morgan Volunteer Fire Department Station 1 is located at 12105 State Highway 180 West (also known as Fort Morgan Road) between mile markers 12 and 13. Guests are asked to wear a mask and practice social distancing.
