Orange Beach Community Association Dinners resume Oct. 5

Posted

The board of the Orange Beach Community Association recently met and made plans to resume the monthly dinners starting Oct. 5 at 6 p.m. at the Orange Beach Community Center. Due to the “Safer at Home” order there will be some significant changes but there is hope that the regular potluck will resume in November.

The biggest change to the October dinner is there will be no potluck. The Community Association Board will furnish and prepare dinner. The food will be served buffet style by volunteers. Hand sanitizer will be provided before getting into the buffet line, masks are required and individuals need to socially distance 6 feet while in the buffet line.

The Orange Beach Community Association is encouraging a small donation to offset the expenses of the dinner.

Dues for the 2020-2021 year will be collect during the meeting. Yearly dues are $25 for a family of four, $13 for an individual and $5 for three-month memberships. Meetings do not occur June, July and August as many are busy with vacationing and family events.
