BLAKELEY -- Historic Blakeley State Park will offer two special wildlife programs being Saturday, June 26 in conjunction with the Alabama 4-H Science School.

The one-hour programs will be at the park’s Wehle Center and are included with regular admission.

The first program will be “Raptor Trek,” at 10:30 a.m. The demonstration allows children and adults to experience and learn about a collection of Alabama’s native species of raptors through a conversation-based presentation.

“Herp Journey” will begin at 1:00 p.m. The program is an educational experience providing hands-on learning for guests of all ages through the introduction of several live species of reptiles and amphibians native to Alabama.

Historic Blakeley State Park is located on Alabama 225 in Spanish Fort. Anyone wanting more information can go to www.blakeleypark.com or call 251-626-0798.
