Baldwin Probate offices will open Saturday at all locations

BAY MINETTE, Alabama — The Baldwin County Probate Office will be open this Saturday, July 11 from 8 a.m. to noon in Bay Minette, Robertsdale, Foley and Fairhope. Customers will be seen on a first come, first served basis.

Officials strongly encourage anyone with outstanding transactions dating back to March to make an effort to come in to prevent a late penalty which will be reinstated this month by the state.

“We realize that the precautionary measures taken to protect the public and our employees has resulted in challenges for those who must take care of transactions in person,” said Judge Harry D’Olive. “Many services can be handled online or by mail but transactions like out-of-state vehicle purchases, mandatory liability insurance issues, and casual sales of vehicles there is no option to do this. We will continue to monitor the needs of the public to determine if future Saturday openings are needed.”

CDC guidelines for social distancing will be enforced. Masks are recommended and anyone who is sick or has been in contact with anyone with COVID-19 should not enter the building.
