White Linen Night set Thursday at ESAC

Posted

FAIRHOPE – The Eastern Shore Art Center will celebrate its third-annual “White Linen Night” fundraiser with food, music and art Thursday, May 13.

Sinatra-era music will fill the galleries of ESAC while both silent and live art auctions take place. The center has lined up music by Swing City Six featuring Doug Breau for the evening, with food stylings of the era served by Guido’s of Daphne. A signature cocktail by The Grand Hotel Golf Resort and Spa will also be featured.

Mercedes-Benz of Mobile is serving again this year as Benefactor Level Sponsor, along with Gulf Coast Events and Rentals creating the magical splendor that wows guests each year. Mid-Century Palm Springs is the inspiration for the decor, with additional lounge atmosphere provided by local shop La La Land.

The gala committee expects a sellout again this year.

“Our sponsors make this event possible,” said Bryant Whelan, executive director of the ESAC. “It’s all intended to support the arts along the Eastern Shore.” Whelan said that in past years the Art Center reached over 31,000 people annually through its programming. “Fundraising events like White Linen Night help us reach our mission, and our sponsors make it possible,” said Whelan.
