The Stray Love Foundation’s biggest fundraiser of the year is back in 2021. The Estate Sale Fundraiser will be held on Friday, April 23 and Saturday, April 24 from 8 a.m. - 3 p.m. at the Magnolia Springs Community Hall (12201 Magnolia Springs Highway, across from Jesse’s Restaurant.)
Those who stop by to browse will find donated antiques, furniture, rugs, jewelry, home décor, tools, books, art, toys, holiday and household items, collectibles, and more.
“We always have so many items to sell, we have to wait for space to open up on our display tables to put out new items, so people should come both days for sure,” said Stray Love Foundation Founder/Director Gayle Guthrie.
Foundation supporter ChemDry by the Shore will be treating the entire Community Hall and outside venues with MicroPro Shield™ prior to the estate sale.
“This kills 99.9% of bacteria from hard and soft surfaces for 90 days and is approved by the EPA for use against SARS-CoV-2, the cause of COVID-19,” said Guthrie. “Of course we will also provide masks and gloves and will encourage social distancing. We are taking these steps so that everyone can feel safe attending this event.”
The foundation, which provides TNR (Trap. Neuter. Release.) services for stray and feral cats in the community, lost donations last year when the majority of its fundraising events were cancelled due to COVID-19. Along with TNR, the foundation also provides foster homes for adoptable cats and kittens until they’re adopted into their forever homes.
“This is normally our biggest fundraiser of the year, and with almost no fundraisers last year it will be a very important event,” Guthrie said. “The Stray Love Foundation’s Estate Sale Fundraiser is always one of the best sales in Baldwin County, and it’s all for the fur-babies.”
