According to the release, officers responded to six vehicles that were broken into in the West Beach Blvd. area, in the early morning hours of Wednesday, March 13.

“The suspects entered the vehicles during the early morning hours, the thieves gained entry into two of them by breaking the windows [and] the other four vehicles were left unlocked,” the release stated. “A handgun, purses and other valuables were taken by the suspects.”

Per the release, the thefts occurred at 200 W. 4th Avenue., 201 W. 4th Avenue, 605 W. Beach Boulevard and 801 W. Beach Boulevard.

“It is believed that four individuals may have been involved,” the release stated. “The suspects are described as a male, dark complexion, lean build, wearing a dark colored hoodie sweatshirt, grey cargo shorts, dark colored Croc style shoes and a black balaclava style mask over his face. The other subject appeared to be a male, light complexion, wearing a white T-shirt, a green Bass Pro hat, dark jeans and skateboard style shoes. This subject had visible tattoos on his left forearm.”

However, the release states there are no descriptions for the other two suspects at this time and the investigation is still ongoing.
